Relationship Therapy
Helping women enjoy their relationships.
It can feel tough to deal with your partner, family, and friends when too much is happening in life. Most people who start relationship therapy feel stuck repeating the same painful patterns. Maybe you feel like you want to escape your life or you know you’d be happier if you made changes, but it feels safer and more comfortable to keep things as they are. In relationship therapy, we can explore how to find joy in your relationships.
Do you feel stressed, sad, or guilty?
Do any of the following resonate with you?
You lost the joyful feelings that you used to have in life.
You feel lonely, even when others are around.
You fight most or all the time with your partner.
You are tired of not feeling heard or valued at work.
You question whether you are in the right relationship after a loss of a loved one.
Many of my clients share with me that it was difficult for them to start therapy or even find the time for it in their busy schedules. Getting the help you need is a sign of strength and will help you better manage your daily life. It is not selfish to prioritize yourself or your relationship over work and other responsibilities. You are worth it.
Relationship therapy can help you improve your relationships.
It’s possible to feel better. Imagine a life where you can…
Really feel joy with yourself and with others.
Feel more free and safe in your relationships.
Have the intimacy you want with your partner.
Feel good about going to your job every day.
Have a good relationship with your child or parent.
How relationship therapy works:
Relationship Therapy consists of 60 or 90 minute sessions that help you work through your concerns. In addition to listening, I will play an active role, ask questions, and guide you towards solutions. Here’s how it will work:
Together we will start addressing your immediate concerns like managing difficult emotions and conflict in your relationships.
We will also work to discover what your goals are in relationships and in life.
Keeping your goals in mind, we’ll figure out what’s needed to help you reach them.
Over the course of our sessions, you will start making progress towards the relationships you desire.
Research shows that Relationship Therapy can strengthen your relationship and positively change your emotions, thinking and behaviors. It can help you let go of what’s holding you back.
